  • She isnt used to it yet but so far she can breath with this one and I dont worry abut her suffocating while asleep. Apr 05, 2019

  • This was a great purchase for us and our twins seem to love it. It is a bit hard to put on regular crib sheets but its very sturdy and my twins have no problem sleeping through the night with it. Nov 14, 2018

Pros: breathability, washable, hypoallergenic, breaks down and can travel with it. Cons: HEAVY, hard to put together, you need serious muscle to put it together. Great for a tummy sleepers though. Aug 29, 2018

  • We have this at my parent's house, and love it! The best part is how easy it is to wash if leaks occur. Not to mention how safe compared to traditional mattresses. Summer nights are cooler too. Aug 25, 2018

I actually had this & sold it, it was rough & I didn't like how it wasn't made from natural materials at all. We ended up buying a Newton & use muslin cotton breathable sheets. Apr 18, 2018

  • Having a tummy sleeper is scary but not with this mattress! Breathable just in case they roll over in their face Feb 10, 2018

  • Absolutely love this mattress. Simple instructions, but need a little muscle. Perfect hypoallergenic solution for our family. Easy to wash if needed with enclosed bag and fits perfectly in our crib. Jan 31, 2018

  • (what's this?)

The mattress comes with a bag to contain it all and a bag to wash it in. It zips on over a frame and can be cleaned quickly and easily. I love the piece of mind knowing that its open air! Oct 19, 2017

  • (what's this?)

So excited to try this out on our baby due 12/13/2017! It was a little tough to put together since it's such an innovative concept- but I love the concept and that it fits standard sheets! Oct 19, 2017

  • (what's this?)

One of my twins was having a hard time sleeping but when I switched her to the the Respiro, she began to sleep through the night!! Oct 17, 2017

Love that: I got it for free, that it's hypoallergenic, and the overall concept; didn't love: how heavy it was to lug inside my house upon delivery, nor the set up (tough - even for hubs!) = Neutral Oct 17, 2017

  • We loved that the mattress was hypoallergenic, breathable and easy to clean! The splash mat that was included definitely came in handy and our son has slept so well since using this product! A keeper! Oct 17, 2017

  • (what's this?)

This mattress design is SO innovative and I love that it provides optimal air flow to sleeping babies. My only concern is that there are hard edges and even with the padding they make me nervous! Oct 11, 2017

  • (what's this?)

This is amazing! So easy to clean if there are accidents and gives you such peace of mind that it is totally breathable. A side for infants and a side for toddlers, so this can be used for ages! Oct 11, 2017

  • had to have my husband put it together. love the concept but so far not much progress in my childs sleeping habits. this matress will let me sleep in peace once my baby actually sleeps in his own room Oct 06, 2017

  • (what's this?)

My husband and I both LOVE the open air design and would do anything to provide our baby with a sleep safe environment. The open air fabric is so easy to throw in the provided laundry bag and wash! Oct 04, 2017

  • (what's this?)

I received this crib mattress from the weeSpring Parent Panel. We are very happy with it and hope our baby will be (due in December)! The design seems very safe and breathable for the baby. Oct 02, 2017

My daughter gets super hot in her crib at night at this mattress has helped SO much! On the downside, it was tricky to put together and is a bit of a pain to change sheets. Oct 02, 2017

  • (what's this?)

I received this mattress from weeSpring and we love it!. It was extremely easy to put together and my 6 mo old son had no issues transitioning from his traditional mattress. It give me piece of mind. Sep 24, 2017

  • (what's this?)

Cons: Directions suck. Its hard to zip together, it's so tight, barely budges. I don't want to ever take it apart again because how hard it is. Pro: totally breathable! Makes me feel safe for baby Sep 18, 2017

Everyone
  • Q: I have the angel care monitor and it doesn't seem to work with this mattress. I'm torn because I love the mattress but sleep so much better when the movement monitor is on. Has anyone else figured out how they work together?

    asked by Chandra D. - May 01, 2018

  • Q: Does this still need a crib sheet or can the baby directly sleep on top of the mattress? Also, has anyone used this in a Babyletto Gelato 4-in-1 crib?

    asked by Ishu K. - Oct 23, 2017

  • Yes, it is meant to still have a crib sheet over it.

    Nissa M. - Oct 23, 2017

  • Using a sheet is optional. From baby trend- “We designed Respiro™ to provide a very soft and comfortable surface for an infant to sleep on but we understand that parents might find it more practical to use a fitted sheet.”

    Adriane B. - Oct 23, 2017

  • The surface is very soft and comfortable, and can be used with or without a sheet, according Baby Trend. We use a Jersey cotton sheet.

    Adriane B. - Oct 23, 2017

  • I’ve used a crib sheet and not used one. Baby slept fine either way. It is definitely soft enough to not need one!

    Molly C. - Oct 23, 2017

  • I’ve used a crib sheet and not used one — baby slept great either way! It is definitely soft enough where you don’t need one!

    Molly C. - Oct 23, 2017

  • It still needs a crib sheet... the actual mattress cover is not easy to take on and off to wash and it would get dirty quick without one causing more of a hassle if you were to just use a crib sheet
