what parents are saying
Mainly use for just #1 diapers. Have been using a hack where you tuck a regular trash bag into the blue ring for about 2 years and it is so much cheaper. Takes a few tries to get the back down but so (Nov 02, 2017)

The quintessential diaper pail, the Diaper Genie is tried and true. It has a foot pedal for hands-free diaper disposal and it’s small it doesn’t take up too much space in the nursery. It also keeps in the smell really well--one mom even admitted she accidently left diapers in it for “way too long” and never smelled a thing.
The Catch: It requires specific liner refills, which are costly.
