Very narrow but lots of installation quirks make it hard to install right. Only 2 year facing recline choices, incompatible with vehicles with forward of the bight buckles which is a lot of vehicles Aug 28, 2022

  • a bit heavy but both kids were comfortable in it. always fall asleep in it during longer drives. Jun 16, 2022

  • Super heavy but folds flat with backpack straps which was great for plane travel. Very safe and husband compared to fighter pilot seat. Didn’t last rear facing as long as I hoped Apr 25, 2022

  • Very narrow car seat, great for third row of minivan. Long belt straps, great for growing child. Heavy, but built like a tank. Overall, our daughter loves it transitioning from smaller convertible. Jan 27, 2021

  • Have 3 different versions of this car seat one in each car. It is heavy but I love how safe it is and that the harness has a higher weight limit. Plus it fits on plane seats as well. Sep 15, 2020

Light weight, very safe, fits in small cars. Hard to clean and not very cozy Sep 15, 2020

  • We bought 2 of these to use straight from birth but they are so massive that they wouldn't fit rear facing in our minivan and crew cab truck without moving the seat in front all the way forward. Jun 07, 2020

  • Great seat for my super tall 97% toddler to extended rear face. Just make sure to grab the angle adjuster! May 12, 2020

  • We LOVE Diono, these are designed in seattle. They are FAA approved, steel framed, side impact protection. One of the safest on the market. This is wider than the radian but still fits on compact cars Apr 17, 2020

  • I have a very tall toddler that this seat has grown well with. Great seat if you leave it in the car after install, as it’s heavy. It is narrow, which I love for fitting multiple car seats in a row. Nov 26, 2019

  • I didn’t love it. It had a ton of pieces to keep up with. It was also outgrown long before the max limits and I have a small child. I wanted to continue to rear face her so I bought a different seat. Aug 04, 2019

  • I love and hate this seat. It’s comfy and low sides make easy in and out but takes up a ton of space front to back seat Even with adjuster. Doesn’t have rethread harness, tether is annoying. Jul 18, 2019

  • Does not recline enough while forward facing for my daughter to fall asleep without her chin touching her chest. The piece that you need to make the seat backwards facing is removable and very easy lo Apr 10, 2019

  • By far my favorite seat and we’ve owned many. Made extremely well and more narrow than most seats on the market. Super comfortable and heavily padded. I know my baby is well protected in this seat! Oct 13, 2018

  • I bought 2...one for my daughter and son. I have truly loved both since having. I feel like the Diono brand is an outstanding brand. Would definitely recommend! Feb 22, 2018

  • I want to say we love this seat, but I’m a bit on the fence at this point. Between the recall, the weight and level of difficulty to install it’s not my favorite. Jan 10, 2018

  • Love the high weight limits but outgrown by height pretty quickly. Can be difficult to install correctly. Dec 23, 2017

  • We have 1 of these and I love the bright blue color we got! Can’t wait to be able to buy a 2nd one for baby number 4 soon! Dec 12, 2017

  • Have these and love. They are narrow enough to fit two and still have enough room for a third person, in a mid size vehicle. Newborn to school age. Very heavy...but sturdy. Oct 18, 2017

  • Diono's are the best and this one is a bit wider than all the rest! Its got more room and comfier but may not be able to fit three in a row! Sep 23, 2017

  • it is a very sturdy car seat, and it will last for a very long time from infant rear facing to high back booster Sep 04, 2017

I have never felt like my child was so safe until I purchased this seat. It's heavy, but it's worth it knowing the frame is thick and made of metal. I would spend every penny on this seat again. Aug 15, 2017

  • Love this carseat for our tall daughter! It's quite heavy, so travelling with it is a bit cumbersome, but it's worth it knowing she's safe! & I love that it leaves room for other car seats/people! Jul 11, 2017

  • I love this car seat! It is so easy to get my daughter into. The low sides mean her short Mama doesn't need to lift her rear facing 30 lbs toddler bum over the sides into the car. Seems comfy too! Jul 11, 2017

  • Heavy duty car seat that is roomy for baby. Easily fits 3 across in car. Jul 04, 2017

  • Love the deeper sides, install can be pain with the narrow belt path and depending on vehicle. Lasts a long time and comfy. Feb 22, 2017

  • We have one of these and two of the diono rxt. I love both models! This model let us rear face out son much longer because of the added weight allowance. Feb 03, 2017

It's a bit heavy but fits great in my SUV. Love the long rear facing weight limit. We will get a lot of use out of this seat until 120 lbs. Dec 15, 2016

  • This car seat is great! We love the safety ratings and the fact that the car seat is essentially the last one we have to buy. We also loved extended rear-facing capabilities. Sep 07, 2016

  • love our diono! had a britax boulevard for my 1st and wish I had gone with diono instead! now that they have the side protection, it's no contest! only con is the weight: this thing is a beast! Sep 02, 2016

Very safe seat, extended rear facing, can be used for all ages and until child can ride without a booster. Jun 10, 2016

  • Have 1 in ea car. it's heavy but we did travel with it a couple times. Still rear facing and it takes up room, but will be super slim once fwd. We had the Britax Chaperone, got this for DD's 1st bday. Dec 16, 2015

  • It is so cushioned and sturdy! I love that it is so portable, able to fold and be carried, though it is heavy. Dec 16, 2015

  • love, love love! super safe and sturdy, Baby is comfortable and I feel assured that she is safe. Oct 15, 2015

  • This car seat is heavy due to the steal frame. It will fit three across if we need it. Also will last ft I'll baby is done with seats. Also made with memory foam so it has to be comfy. Sep 22, 2015

we are very pleased with this purchase Aug 17, 2015

  • Great car seat. Fits in my compact and leaves plenty of room for an adult (or two if necessary in the back seat). It is very tall and heavy, but I don't move it. So easy to get baby in and out of. Aug 13, 2015
