  • A must have. I still use mine from my last pregnancy. I need to get another one. Jul 09, 2022

Great for that awkward time in early pregnancy and postpartum when your normal pants are too small but you don’t fit in maternity stuff yet. This is the perfect solution! Sep 14, 2021

  • I did not find this comfortable or useful. It’s possible I just had the wrong size but it did not stay in place well at all. Mar 24, 2021

  • Skip the belly band and get maternity pants. Worked okay, but did just fine not using it and preferred pants anyway. Mar 17, 2021

This was great for the transition between first and second trimester. It was good for postpartum too! It was comfy and did a good job holding my pants up. Feb 02, 2021

  • I really liked this belly band. I bought mine conveniently at Target. It saved me when I was in between regular and maternity styles. I used it postpartum too when my maternity jeans were too big. Jun 10, 2020

  • This kept rolling up and didn’t work. Maybe it was my body type. Apr 17, 2020

  • Bought these duding the first trimester when my work clothes no longer fit. They bought me some time between my old pants and maternity clothes, but they’re really not supportive for my growing belly Feb 14, 2020

  • Had a black and white and used comfortably in place of maternity pants until around 20 weeks or so. A bit pricey, but ordered from gap for 50% off during an online sale. Feb 02, 2020

  • I have this and I thought it would be amazing for the time in between my maternity pants and regular pants. Unfortunately the band wasn't tight enough to hold my jeans up and they would slip down. Jan 16, 2020

  • Love these! I have one in nude and black. I can use them over any jeans that I can still get over my hips (which is not very many pairs at this point...lol) and it covers my fly. Jan 03, 2020

  • Always rolled up on me. Used it only 3-4 times. Jan 01, 2020

  • Amazing pregnancy belly band! Only had to buy a few maternity items because these bands extended the waist of my pants/shorts/skirts. My set has lasted through 2 full pregnancies and now on the 3rd! Sep 16, 2019

  • I have two of these. They are okay but even with the anti-slip gel around the bottom, they still either roll up or move during the day. I found these better for me later on in my pregnancy. Jul 24, 2019

  • I guess it did it’s job, but it wouldn’t stay up on me even though it fit snuggly. I wasn’t super impressed. Just ok. May 30, 2019

  • This was perfect in early pregnancy to help my belly feel supported and to cover the gap where my jeans were not buttoning. Worked to wear my own jeans until into 3rd trimester! Apr 28, 2019

  • These are great! They are so comfortable you don’t even know your wearing it. They allow you to wear your own jeans without buying new ones. Feb 14, 2019

  • The band did not cover up bulging buttons or zippers. Fabric is too thin to use for a smoothing effect. Okay for belly support, but also seemed to roll up or bunch easily. Limited uses. Jan 30, 2019

Saved me from buying expensive maternity jeans! Jan 17, 2019

  • good alternative when you aren't ready for maternity clothes but you don't quite fit in your normal clothes :/ cheap investment to make your pre-pregnancy clothes last a bit longer Jan 01, 2019

  • I bought this in three colors, not only does it keep my pants up but I like the added support of the band on my bump. Nov 27, 2018

  • This definitely helped in the first trimester when pants are uncomfortable or too tight at the waistband. However, I voted neutral on this because its usefulness is short-lived. Sep 10, 2018

  • Great. Was able to extend the life of many of my non-maternity clothes with this. Also felt like it gave my growing belly some additional support Aug 26, 2018

Everyone
  • Q: How tight is something like this? How does it help someone stay in non maternity clothes until 7 months (as one person said in the comments)?

    asked by Jessica O. - Mar 22, 2014

  • The one I had was not uncomfortably tight, and had a lot of stretch, so it stayed on. It kind of acts like a camisole, but doesn't ride up as your belly grows, while your shirts do! I also liked wearing super-long tank tops under my shirts, but this was a great option when a tank wasn't ideal.

    Sara S. - Mar 22, 2014

  • Yes absolutely!--I'm 2 weeks from my due date and still use them. I find they help to cover up a gap between my pants & shirt, caused by my growing belly.

    Erin L. - Mar 23, 2014

  • In addition to covering up the belly gap, it also allowed me to use a rubber band on my jeans and then I would cover that with the bellaband- voila, no need for maternity pants! I'm 11mo pp now and still use it to keep my midriff hidden when nursing my daughter.

    Laney L. - Mar 23, 2014

  • it's not too bad (and i'm pretty sensitive about having tight things around my belly/waist. I used it once my pants started getting tight until i got enough maternity pants, and then again postpartum while my regular pants were all still too tight. This migh differ based on how you carried, but i found it helpful and it saved me from having to spend too much on maternity pants early on.
