I actually don't think so. I borrowed a friends and didn't use it once. I just steamed and blended stuff on my own and froze any extra I had!

It was an awesome gift and I was thrilled to use it at the time but wouldn't buy it myself. It's nice because it's set to do it's own cooking with recommended time, water, etc. and you cook and then puree in one place but it's really small quantities. I thought the recipe book was really handy.

For large quantities this is not it. I just put it on the counter, and each meal I was having I would put a bit in the blender, extra-steam it and blend for the little. For this purpose, it was great
